Where can you live riverfront / waterfront in Northeast Florida (Jacksonville / St Augustine), have your boat in a slip behind your home and not be required to have flood insurance?  Shores of Rivertown!!!  Keep your boat right behind your home in the Saint Johns River and have direct access to the Atlantic Ocean and you are NOT required to have flood insurance.  The Shores of Rivertown is in Flood Zone X!!!  This is amazing and almost unheard of in Florida.  Most waterfront homes in Florida require flood insurance but NOT HERE!!!
