The SuperATV brand windshield for the Pioneer is made in the USA and comes with a 100% fitment Guarantee! As the price shows, they are very proud of this product and that is for good reason. The windshield, supporting shocks, and latch are all top quality components and you can feel it. The latch is very secure and keeps the windshield closed nicely. Although we recommend consulting with your dealer for expert recommendation, we tow our Honda Pioneer facing forward with the windshield in the completely closed position.
Our Pioneer is outfitted with the factory hard top (roof). With the roof and the windshield closed you can stay pretty dry riding in the rain. You tend to just get a mist rolling in from the back, especially on a paved road. One thing we have noticed is that you also get some dust rolling in from the back when the windshield is completely closed and you are riding on a very dry dirt road. Open the SuperATV windshield to the “vent” position or wide open and it takes care of the dust rolling in from the back.
The brackets that connect the windshield to the front roof struts (roll bars) are very substantial. These brackets are definitely one of the reasons this windshield cost more than and out performs the competition. These brackets use quality stainless steel hardware and are very secure once installed. They are definitely not flimsy junk… they are stout! The brackets come preassembled making installation of the SuperATV windshield on you Honda Pioneer 700 or 700-4 a breeze. Although this SXS windshield gets great reviews on Amazon, the main complaint is that the windshield holds tight in the center and bows up on the left and right ends.  This new and improved version has two latches and takes care of this issue.
