Upstate South Carolina – A Slice of Paradise
You may be wondering, how can a guy from Florida help me find the right real estate professional for Upstate South Carolina. If I am looking for a house on Lake Keowee, Lake Hartwell, or the surrounding cities and am looking for an agent, why would Active Lifestyle Info be my best resource for finding a partner that suits my particular needs? Well, growing up I spend numerous months every year in the upstate and became very fond of the area. From the Blue Ridge Mountain towns of Highlands and Cashiers to quaint cities of Walhalla, Seneca, Clemson, and Anderson, I have explored this region as much as any area of the country. I have family in the area and over the years have become acquainted with several amazing realtors. If you are looking to buy or sell in northwest South Carolina please get in touch and let us pair you up with a quality real estate brokerage.
The thing that has always kept me going back to upstate area is the abundance of things to do in a relatively small area. Let’s take the neighborhood of Keowee Key as an example (we stay here a lot when in the area). Using this as a starting point, you can be in so many amazing places in an hour or less. You can be in the mountain towns of Mountain Rest, Cashiers, and Highlands via some beautiful routes. This is so nice in the summer as you can head up there where it is cooler during the warmer summer months. Grab lunch a do some hiking… See natural wonders like waterfalls and scenic vistas. Also within an hour from the Lake Keowee area the towns of Anderson and Greenville where you will find cultural experiences, larger hospitals, and plenty to do. All throughout the area there are so many adventures. Ziplining, whitewater rafting, tubing, camping, fishing, hunting… you name it and you can do it in this area.
Clemson University is just a few minutes away and adds that youthful vibe to the area that only a college can bring. You have never seen a campus with so much apparent school spirit. Tiger paw prints travel down many of the local roads and Death Valley stands tall on this beautiful campus. Take advantage of the historical sites on campus and the ever-evolving botanical gardens. If you are looking to buy or sell and investment around the Clemson South Carolina area, I have got the perfect real estate agent for you.
Now we have to dive into the real jewels of the upstate area… Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell. These two lakes are one of the main reasons this area is so desirable. Both are man-made lakes that are clear and deep. They offer amazing boating, fishing, and watersport opportunities along with beautiful vistas. Living on Lake Keowee or Hartwell is a real pleasure and has attracted people from all over the world.
If you are looking to sell your home or buy something on one of the lakes or in the surrounding area, please let us connect you with someone who has the knowledge and ethics you deserve.
