The River’s Edge RE668 Relax 2 Person Ladder Tree Stand has one our first place award for being the best two man ladder stand for your next hunting trip.  Many people say that a ladder stand is a ladder stand…  wrong!  This stand is packed with features and, take it from someone who has spend many hours hunting out of ladder stands, they make a huge difference.  We are well aware that you can buy a two person hunting stand for half of the price of this stand but you get what you pay for.  If you are not a kid, young adult, or plan to sit in the stand more than an hour, spend the extra money and get this great stand.  I would have rather have one of these ladder stands than three cheaper stands.  This is the most comfortable two person ladder stand that we are aware of.

The first feature we love on the River’s Edge stand is the mesh, sling style seat bottoms and back.  These things are comfortable and allow you to sit much longer than a lesser stand where you are sitting on a thin cushion on top of a piece of expanded metal.  Second is the adjustable shooting rail.  The rail will flip up behind you for archery hunting or can be adjusted for rifle / shotgun hunting for hunters of all ages and sizes.  The padding on the shooting rail makes a nice rest when ready to take that shot.  The last major feature that makes this one stand out from the rest is the size.  It is a very nice 17′ tall and has a great sized foot rest.  The foot rest being 43″ X 16″ which is larger than many ladder stands and make you feel more comfortable, safe, and stable.

Everything else being equal, just the comfort of this ladder tree stand compared to it’s competition make it a real standout!  Give one a try and you will understand what we mean.  We really like this stand for our hunting lease where we do not mind leaving the stand in one location all season or maybe even permanently.  We have some that have never been moved since they were brand new and been there for years.
