Product Review – iRocker Inflatable Stand-up Paddleboards (SUP)

IRocker Paddleboard Review and Unboxing Video

Jill and I tend to research items more than the average couple when preparing to purchase something.  That is exactly what we did when we decided to switch from traditional hard stand-up paddleboards over to inflatable paddleboards.  We decided to switch to the inflatable SUP when we got tired of loading and unloading the boards.  In the video above you will see us packing up our iRocker paddleboards in our car, pumping them up, and hitting the river.  CLICK HERE to learn more about the iRocker 12V electric pump we use in the video to inflate our SUPs.

We were first exposed to the iRocker brand of paddleboards at the headspring of Rainbow River in Dunnellon, Florida.  There was a couple in the parking lot inflating their SUPs and we chatted briefly and they were very pleased with their boards.  Later in the day we saw them paddling and was very impressed with how stable the boards were.  I was always concerned that an inflatable would be like trying to stand on a pool raft and paddle.  Boy was I wrong.

The iRocker boards are very stable with very little flex.  At only 15 PSI it is amazing how firm they are.  In fact, the only time I notice the flex is when riding over the wake of a passing boat.  This actually turns out to be a benefit.  It actually helps the rider when the board flexes as you do not move up and down on the boat wake near as much as you do on a traditional paddleboard.  This gives you a very stable feel whether taking the wake head on or at an angle.

iRocker really prides themselves on the quality of their materials and the construction of their boards and accessories.  Due to these factors they are able to include a 3 year warranty on their boards.  Something that you will not notice when looking at the boards but adds to the durability is the triple-layer drop-stitch construction iRocker employs in building their board.  The quality and engineering that goes into the construction of iRocker SUPs leads to the most sturdy SUPs on the market with incredible weight capacity.  Great selection of board styles and color combinations puts them a the front of the pack in the SUP market!  CLICK HERE to see all that you can choose from.

iRocker is also concerned with the environment.  They raise money for such programs as Kenny Chesney’s “No Shoes Reefs” and “Below the Water”.  They really do their part to help positively impact the waters they paddle on!
