Staycation – Treasure Island / St Pete

Vacation at Treasure Island Beach Resort

We have tried numerous resorts along Pinellas County’s beaches and, so far, Treasure Island Beach Resort has been the best for us.  Cleanliness is very important to us and this one is very clean.  It is large enough to have what you need but small enough to not feel crazy.  The in-house restaurant at Treasure Island is very nice and has great food.  It is called BRGR KITCHEN & BAR and features a full bar and offers room service.  Under the building is shaded parking behind a gate and a doggy potty area which is nice if your pooch needs to go out in the rain.  We brought our K-9 companion and were pleased with how dog friendly this St Pete Beach resort was.  They offer doggy bowls, treats, and even offered a pet bed for our room.

St Pete Pier

While you are staying at St Pete Beach you really should visit John’s Pass for dining and shopping.  You can even catch a boat to go fishing or on a sightseeing trip.  This village features Caddy’s, Bubba Gumps, and many other dining options.  We tried a few and Caddy’s was our favorite here.  Great seafood and you can sit right on the water.
