A-Arm Guards for Honda Pioneer 700

A-Arm Guards Installed on Honda Pioneer 700

Most people are looking for accessories for their Honda Pioneer that look cool, sound cool, light up the night, or somehow add style to their ride.  This accessory may not do that but it sure can save you money and some major headaches.  The A-Arm Guards for the Honda Pioneer 700 / 700-4 by Genuine Honda Parts is such an important add-on for your buggy.  These protect your cv boots (aka axle boots) from being damaged by rocks, sticks, or other objects poking through them.  If you ride in the mud, trails, or especially in clear cuts, you NEED these axle protectors or your 700.

We have the Genuine Honda A-Arm Guards on the front of our Pioneer and love them.  They were easy to install and are very durable.  We have a lot of clear cuts and rough trails at the hunting lease and have never torn a CV boot thanks to these guards.   They are lightweight brushed aluminum so they are lightweight and do not rust.  Their are other brands on the market but we find the brackets on these, that attach to the a-arms of the Pioneer, to be easier to install and of better quality.  These look like they came on the SXS once installed while some other brands look more like an afterthought.

We have had these on the front A-Arms of our Pioneer since it was new.  We have considered adding the rears but have not done that yet.  We feel the front axles are much more likely to get damaged than the rear.  Since the front axles have to be removed to replace the CV boots, this can be a very big job.  Often time the CV joints are damaged by sand, mud, and/or water by the time you notice the tear in the CV boot.  Adding these a-arm guards greatly reduces the chance of any of this damage and can save you lots of time and money down the road!  Get a set on your Honda Pioneer 700 / 700-4 before you regret not doing so sooner.
