Options / features about this unit that makes it stand out amongst its peers…  1)  This unit was new on the lot when we purchased it.  Many units sit around dealerships and, even worse, go to several RV shows prior to being purchased.  This puts more wear and tear than a year’s use in our opinion.  This unit had left the factory less than a month prior to us picking it up and it really showed.  2)  This unit has the super comfortable theater seating in place of the dinette.  Now that we have had the Wayfarer a while we realize that this is a must have.  It also comes with a table for each recliner that is perfect for eating, paperwork, laptop, or any other tasks.  3)  This unit was built AFTER covid and has proven to be well put together.  Many of the early 2023 and previous period units seem to have more issues.  This one has been great.   4)  This Wayfarer has the diesel generator rather than gas or propane.  Using the same fuel as the drive motor makes it easy to make sure you always have fuel when you need the generator.

Why is this unit better than new?

Anyone that has ever purchased a brand new RV will tell you that there will always be a few bugs to work out.  We were very lucky and had only a few issues that needed to be addressed.  About a month after we purchased the unit we stopped by the manufacturer’s warranty facility in Winfield, Alabama and had them go over a few things for us.  They even took care of a few recall items that we were not even aware of.  Below is a list of things they did in Winfield.  The Wayfarer has 9,500 miles which were largely interstate travel.

New wheel well liners – this was a recall due to original liners occasionally rubbing the tires.

Replaced Roller Shade in kitchen – this was due to the originally one having a weak spring.

Raise the Muffler – this was a recall due to mufflers being installed hanging down too far.

Install Bulldog Latches on drawers – these are added for free by Tiffin to prevent drawers from sliding open during cornering.

Swap in/out fuel lines on generator – fuel lines were installed incorrectly during original build.
